About
Welcome to Thames Sailing Club, the UK's oldest river sailing club, founded in 1870. Located between Surbiton and Kingston on the Surrey bank of the River Thames. The Victorian clubhouse overlooks one of London's most beautiful stretches of the river, bordered as it is by Hampton Court Grounds on the Middlesex bank.

Sailing & Powerboating Courses
Come join us at Thames Sailing Club for a fun and informative time sailing or powerboating on the River Thames. Generally with light winds and a relaxed atmosphere Thames Sailing Club is a perfect place to learn to sail and enjoy the beauty of the river.
Thames Sailing Club is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Centre.
SUP Courses
Keep Sailing has partnered with the Thames Sailing Club (TSC) Paddle Board School, originally know as BlueChip. The TSC Paddleboard school is one of the original SUP Clubs, providing thousands of people their first taste of supping. Thames Sailing Club has a brilliant SUP Club for those wanting to get out on the water regularly with a great team of instructors.
SUP lessons run on Saturday Mornings from May to October, with more sessions added on Thursday evening and Sunday afternoons during the Summer.
