  • Clothes to go sailing in / wetsuit. We have a limited supply of wetsuits available for use with a course.

If you don’t have a wetsuit please bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet and are not too heavy when wet. For example, jeans are not good when wet. Please bring a few changes of clothes, we hope you won’t capsize while sailing but we can’t guarantee it!

  • Water-proofs: a lightweight waterproof jacket is perfect and trousers if you have them.
  • Shoes for sailing in: either wetsuit boots, old trainers or deck shoes are fine.

Sadly we live in England! If we stopped for the rain we’d never get anything done.
Most of the time it doesn't rain for the whole course! if it makes sense, we will do theory inside while it's raining! But sometimes we just have to put our jackets on and head outside!

If we deem it too windy for your course to go ahead we will give you the option to transfer to anther date or offer you a full refund. It is however rare that we cannot complete the course due to high winds.

We will not cancel youth courses due to high winds, there is lots of fun learning we can do inside the clubhouse!
